Description Employee will be expected to:
- provide nurse practitioner services on-site to inmates at QCHC's facilities.
- give appropriate medical orders to direct medical and nursing care provided by QCHC nursing staff at sites.
- document all clinical encounters in the medical record - participate in the quality assurance, risk management, and staff education activities - coordinate and communicate with jail administration as necessary - participate in meetings with jail administration, Sheriffs, and/or other county officials as needed; work with off-site healthcare providers as necessary.
Job Requirements:
Master's degree in Nursing required Must have current and valid CRNP Must have current, unencumbered license in the state of practice 1-3 years of previous Nurse Practitioner experience preferred Experience working in corrections preferred Current BLS certifiedPosition Requirements Job Requirements:
