Job DetailsJob LocationAnswers in Genesis / Ark Encounter - Williamstown, KYDescriptionThe role of the Site Development Technician is to support the construction, installation, and fabrication of new projects for the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum while displaying our Core Values of SERVE to ensure that the message and mission of Answers in Genesis is portrayed in an effective and God-honoring fashion.
Responsibilities Promote the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis.
Create a SERVE culture environment in all work done.
Assist with all new projects from start to finish.
Equipment maintenance.
Maintain project site in a safe, clean, organized, and orderly manner.
Operate a variety of hand tools.
Operate small equipment.
Work with a variety of materials such as metal, wood, concrete, plastics and stone.
Install irrigation, drain tile, stone walls, pavers, water features, Christmas lights and outdoor landscape lights.
Tree removal.
Assist Grounds Maintenance and Grounds/Horticulture Team as needed.
And all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
QualificationsRequirements Must agree with and be able to sign our Statement of Faith.
Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Regular attendance at a local Bible-believing church.
Valid drivers license This position requires lifting 50-80-pound objects, frequent bending, walking and standing.
The person must be able to perform heavy manual labor and deal with exposure to a variety of weather conditions.
The person must safely and effectively utilize chemicals which may present health hazards if not handled properly.
They must have the ability to safely utilize dangerous power and hand equipment including heavy excavation equipment.
Education & ExperienceAny combination of education or job-related experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities to perform tasks is preferred.
Recommended Skills Chassis Motor Engine Lathes Powertrain Planned Maintenance Steering Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
